International piano competition takes place in Qingdao FTZ

The eighth Irmler (Qingdao) International Piano Competition Awards Ceremony recently took place in the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area (Qingdao FTZ).

Forty influential piano experts from Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Russia, Japan, Iceland, and China attended the ceremony.

From Aug 11 to 14, nearly 2,000 winners out of over 30,000 contestants from more than 60 divisions at home and abroad gathered in Qingdao to present a wonderful piano experience.

The Sino-German cultural event has a history of 15 years and has since the fourth edition been held in the Sino-German Ecopark in the Qingdao FTZ. The research, development, production and exhibition base of Irmler Pianos in the Sino-German Ecopark is expected to be put into use this year.
