The Guiyang-Libo segment of the Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway has seen passenger volume continue on an upward trajectory since it opened on Aug 8.
As of Aug 17, this section of rail has served 189,000 passengers, or 18,900 a day on average. Libo Railway Station has sent 28 percent of the total passenger volume.
To ensure safe and orderly travel during the initial operation of the high-speed railway segment, the railway authority in Guiyang has made full efforts to optimize its services.
Guiyang Railway Station selected 63 staff members for centralized training. They were then deployed to Dushan East Railway Station and Libo Railway Station along the Guiyang-Libo segment of the Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway to maintain and upkeep the elevators, air conditioning systems, and broadcasting equipment, providing passengers with a favorable environment.
Meanwhile, crew from the Guiyang passenger transport division have introduced local delicacies and scenic spots, folk customs and cultural attractions along the Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway. They have also sought feedback from passengers on their opinions, specific needs, and suggestions on how to better coordinate forms of assistance and resolve any difficulties they may face, with the aim of enhancing service quality.
The air-conditioning filters on the high-speed trains have been cleaned more frequently and the customer service facilities have been maintained at a higher level to improve people's travel experiences.
