Sitting in Liangjiang town of Lingui county, Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is 28 kilometers southwest from downtown Guilin, about a 30 minute drive to the urban area along the Airport Expressway.
Occupying an area of 15.56 square kilometers, Guilin Liangjiang International Airport was opened to the public on Oct 1, 1996. The construction of the Terminal 2 Building was put into operation in September 2018, allowing an annual throughput of 12 million passengers.
