Guangdong FTZ strengthens trade exchanges with Europe

A delegation representing Nansha Free Trade Zone (FTZ), which is a key component of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, recently visited Belgium, Italy and the United Kingdom, to attend events to further promote the Nansha district of Guangzhou, local media outlets reported on Aug 10.

This was the first time that the Nansha FTZ attended an event in Europe to launch economic and trade exchanges, creating an important platform for cooperation and business opportunities.

During their stay in Europe, the FTZ delegates also conducted on-site visits and promotional activities to support local businesses in exploring the European market and attract overseas enterprises to invest in Nansha and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Nansha aims to enhance cooperation and expand collaboration opportunities with Belgium and Italy in various sectors, such as shipping logistics, commerce and trade investment, technological innovation, and the fashion industry.

Moreover, Nansha has established initial cooperative agreements with companies like the Renson Group and ECDC Logistics to strengthen communication and achieve tangible progress.
