Intl students explore Chinese colored glaze in Zibo

More than 20 international students from Shandong University of Technology recently embarked on a visit to Xiye Workshop, located in Zibo city, East China's Shandong province.

Xiye Workshop is located in Boshan district, which is renowned as the birthplace of Chinese colored glaze. This company specializes in the design, production, and marketing of glassware, colored glaze art pieces and cultural creations.

During their visit to the workshop, the students observed the intricate glass production process that involves over 10 stages and were captivated by the exquisite craftsmanship on show. They also got to try their hands at creating glass artworks.

The students also explored the Museum of Glass Works Exhibition, where they learned about the history, production procedures, and knowledge related to glass.
