International business core area of Xiamen out to attract high-end headquarters

The international business core area of Xiamen has set its sights on attracting high-end headquarters to promote the high-quality economic development of Xiamen.

The area is situated at the intersection of the north area of Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, Guanyin Mountain Area, and Xiamen Software Park Phase II and is set to become a premium headquarters cluster that integrates high-end business, multifunctional commerce, and sports venues.

The international business core area of Xiamen will take advantage of the software information expertises the neighboring Kaiyuan Innovation Community has, as well as the clustering effect of the Cross-Strait Financial Center, said Chen Shan'ang, associate professor of Xiamen University.

Many investment companies that have settled here have expressed that the north area of Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center has been rapidly developing in recent years and has already attracted several headquarter companies and listed companies such as Xiamen C&D Group, Sanan optoelectronics, and Septwolves.

Major institutions such as the People's Bank of China Xiamen Central Sub-Branch, and China Merchants Bank Xiamen Branch have also settled in the area.

This gathering of high-profile companies will in turn attract many high-end headquarters and further optimize the industrial structure.

Siming district will capitalize on the development and operation of the international business core area of Xiamen and enhance efforts in attracting and optimizing resources through the financial fund aggregation area.

By bolstering the industry chain to empower the software and information industry, trade exhibition industry, and cultural tourism industry, the district will aspire to create a more advanced and complete industrial chain, thus accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system.
