Zhangye Ganzhou Airport

Zhangye Ganzhou Airport is a dual-use airport, located in Zhangye City, Gansu Province. It is 24km southeast from the center of the city. It was expended from the former Zhangye Air Force Flight School’s airport.

On November 1, 2011, the airport was open to navigation. The airport covers an area of 3025.5 acres, with 3,000 meter long and 55 meters wide runway. In 2020, the passenger throughput is expected to reach 243,000 passengers and cargo and mail throughput is designed for 1,723 tons. The terminal area 4,189 square meters.

Zhangye with Qinglian Mountain at south, Heli Mountain, Longshou Mountain at north, and the Black River runs through the whole territory, forms a unique desert oasis scene.
