Ganzhou Middle School

Ganzhou Middle School is a nine-year boarding school built in 2015. With an area of 85,298 square meters and a floor area of 32,968 square meters, the school is divided into three functional zones of teaching, sports and living. There are eight independent buildings for teaching, reading, office, accommodation and catering purposes at the campus.

Ganzhou Middle School has built a standard football field, 400-meter running track, basketball and table tennis venues, 15 laboratories for the courses of physics, chemistry, biology and sciences, 12 functional classrooms for academic reports, computer, reading, music and arts, and one A-level mental health services room.

There are 70 classrooms with 3,876 students in Ganzhou Middle School. The school has set up four model working offices for the courses of maths, Chinese and biology in the name of local famous teachers. It boasts 226 teachers, including a national second-class psychological consultant, two honorees of Gansu Model Teachers awards, eight provincial-level leading teachers, a teacher in the list of Gansu Top 100 Teachers, two leading teachers under the direct leadership of Zhangye Department of Education, three leading teachers under the direct leadership of Ganzhou Department of Education, 13 municipal-level leading teachers, 32 county-level leading teachers, 28 Ganzhou Dandelion teachers, 13 part-time teaching-research workers, and 12 teachers with master's degrees. 100 percent of them are qualified for personal teaching posts.

Ganzhou Middle School has attached great importance to the all-round development and mental health of its students, set up special classrooms for parents and mothers, strengthened parent-child interactions, and adopted a series of measures to enhance the education level of local parents.

Ganzhou Middle School has received wide recognition from the public and won a series of awards and titles, which include National Demonstration School for the Promotion of Traditional Chinese Culture, Gansu Leading Party Branches, Gansu Outstanding Communist Youth League Committee and Zhangye Demonstration School for the Promotion of Intangible Culture, in recognition of its achievements in all aspects.
