Mountain runners compete amid peaks in Guiyang's cool climate

Running under the theme of "Cool Guiyang Avoid Summer Heat Season, Beautiful City Welcomes Visitors", the fourth Guiyang 10 Peaks National Mountaineering Competition was held at Denggao Yunshan Forest Park in Yunyan district on Aug 5.

Some 300 runners from more than 10 provinces, including Hunan, Shaanxi and Hubei, started from the east gate of the park and raced through Denggao Slope and Youyi Bridge.

This event set up a 10-kilometer climbing group, a 10-15km cross-country orienteering group, and a 3-6km parent-child fun orienteering group.
