2023 China Graphics took place in Tai'an, Shandong province, on Aug 5.
The four-day event has attracted more than 700 scholars and experts in the field of graphics.
During the opening ceremony, the Tai'an municipal government signed a strategic agreement with China Graphics Society. According to the agreement, the two sides will work together to form scientific and technological service teams, organize academic exchange activities, promote scientific popularization, and cultivate talents.
Li Lanxiang, mayor of Tai'an, said that Tai'an has always been pursuing high-quality innovation and that scientific and technological innovation is critical to the overall development of the city.
Tai'an has been designated as a pilot city for "innovation-driven China" and one of the 39 national demonstration cities for innovation-driven development. The city has also established close connections with 110 national and provincial associations, Li said.
As the most influential and authoritative national-level society in the field of graphics in China, the China Graphics Society will provide strong support for the development of industries such as intelligent manufacturing to Tai'an, Li added.
