The headquarters of the National Center of Technology Innovation For Dairy was officially opened in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Aug 5 during the ongoing World Dairy Industry Conference.
Approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the dairy technology innovation center is located in the Yili Future Intelligence and Health Valley. It is dedicated to exploring a path of high-quality development in the dairy industry through independent technological innovation.

The center aims to create a globally influential hub for dairy science and technology innovation. It includes research centers for dairy product safety and quality, nutrition and health, cow breeding and farming technology, and dairy process technology and equipment. The center also features platforms for standardization services, intellectual property services, and incubation.
Yili Group is an important collaborator and participant of the center. It was also the first member unit of the center, starting from 2019, collaborating with various stakeholders to promote the establishment and development of the center.
Currently, the center has over 100 member units, which have gathered 10 academicians, over 100 senior industry experts, over 20 overseas experts, over 100 core scientific researchers, and an innovation team of more than 5,000 people across the entire industry chain.
