Tai'an Tourism and Economy Development Area strives to boost cultural tourism

The Tai'an Tourism and Economy Development Area has formulated a three-year action plan to boost cultural inheritance and the high-quality development of Mount Tai.

The area, which has a superior ecological environment with an urban green coverage rate of over 50 percent, has set goals to transform itself into a national-level tourism and vacation zone over the next three years.

The zone has formulated plans to upgrade various facilities, introduce new accommodation, catering, shopping, and entertainment options, as well as create an intelligent management platform and big data center for tourism.

In addition, the zone has designed various tourism products such as folk culture tours, cultural exhibition tours, and sports-related tours to attract visitors.

The nighttime economy is another key focus. The zone will encourage scenic spots, cinemas and cultural venues to stimulate nighttime consumption and create diverse cultural and entertainment spaces to achieve its goal of creating a nighttime economy demonstration business zone by 2025.
