Xi'an airport's all designated ports resume function

The Xi'an Xianyang International Airport welcomed its first shipment of imported meat products on July 28, with the MU5010 flight from Moscow in Russia arriving at the airport.

This marked the complete restoration of the designated port function at the airport.

These batches of imported meat products were high-quality beef from Belarus. The goods were shipped from Minsk, Belarus, via Moscow, Russia. They arrived directly at the airport through a seamless combination of air and ground cold-chain transportation, ensuring that the meat products reached customers within three days.

This flight achieved a high level of guarantee throughout the process. The goods received expedited procedures such as pre-declaration, priority document review, and appointment inspection.

The complete restoration of the five designated supervision areas for imported meat products, fruits, edible aquatic animals, plant seedlings, and pharmaceuticals at the airport will help the diversified development of international business expands, further demonstrating the value of the airport-based national logistics hub.

So far, the airport has opened 44 all-cargo routes and has become the only city in the country to have air connectivity with all five Central Asian countries. It provides strong support for developing import and export trade in Shaanxi.
