Nansha to boost metaverse industrial development

The awards ceremony for the Nansha metaverse technology product creativity and design competition was held in Guangzhou's Nansha district on July 27.

A total of 26 works stood out from the 633 entries from more than 100 well-known key design schools and organizations countrywide.

One of the winners, Zhu Yujing of the Beijing Institute of Technology, noted that Nansha is both friendly to new industries and that it provides those industries with a good environment for innovation, policies, education, and sci-tech advancements.

This competition better promoted Nansha's metaverse industry cluster and helped to develop a highland for industrial innovation.

Of note, this competition was also a part of the "Nansha Plan", as it aimed to promote Nansha's high-quality industrial development. It has shown the vigorous vitality and creativity of Nansha's metaverse industry.

In the future, it will become an important platform for metaverse culture exchanges among youths in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

A forum on metaverse innovation and development was later held, putting forward that the district will establish the Guangzhou metaverse innovation alliance and construct a pilot demonstration zone.
