Dole, one of the world's largest producers and distributors of fresh fruit, said it is ready to showcase its new products at the sixth China International Import Expo.
The company has experienced rapid growth since participating in the first CIIE in 2018, according to Wang Na, marketing director of Dole China.
"Thanks to a series of policies and measures on trade facilitation brought about by the CIIE, Dole has introduced to China an increasing number of high-quality fresh fruits that have been well-received by Chinese consumers," Wang said.
Dole is just one of the hundreds of multinational corporations in Pudong New Area that are looking forward to the sixth CIIE.
About 250 MNCs that have regional headquarters in Pudong have participated in the CIIE for five consecutive years. These companies have occupied more than half of the exhibition areas in the medical equipment, medicine and healthcare, technical equipment, and automobile exhibition zones.
Over the last five years, nearly 300 exhibitors attending the CIIE have set up new operations or increased investment in Pudong. They include a medical equipment joint venture established by global healthcare technology company Medtronic and dialysis products and services firms DaVita, and an engineering consultation company by real estate service provider Savills.
