An embroidery culture-themed salon was held in Suzhou New District, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province on July 27, the day after the launch of the third Cross-Strait Youth Culture Month in the city.

More than 150 Taiwan people from all walks of life and Taiwan youth were impressed by the exquisite artworks at the Mashan Tourist Center in SND after experiencing the unique embroidery culture by visiting exhibitions, attending lectures and making the art piece themselves.

Yao Jianping, Chinese master of arts and crafts and national inheritor of Su embroidery, Li Wenbo, founder of the Su embroidery brand "Yao Silk", and Song Yaqiao, an embroiderer from Taiwan, were invited to share the history, culture, and innovation of embroidery and the story between them and embroidery.

Wu Haoxi, Suzhou master of arts and crafts, noted that this activity is quite meaningful to gather youth from the Strait and establish a deep cultural bond with them.
