Jinzhong, Fujian further business cooperation

An investment promotion and cooperation conference between Jinzhong city in North China's Shanxi province and East China's Fujian province was held in the former on July 24.

The conference aimed to promote the economic vitality and urban charm of Jinzhong, showcase its high-level openness to the outside world, and highlight its achievements in high-quality economic and social development. 

During the conference, Jinzhong signed strategic cooperation agreements with Fujian's chambers of commerce in Liaoning and Yunnan provinces. A total of 15 projects with a total investment of 17.5 billion yuan ($2.45 billion) were contracted during the event. 

The Fujian Chamber of Commerce in Jinzhong was also established. Mei Ying, president of the organization, said the chamber will gather resources, assist in attracting investment, and encourage more influential and reputable entrepreneurs from Fujian to invest and start businesses in Jinzhong. 

In recent years, Jinzhong has focused on the vitalization of its manufacturing industry, and improved the business environment to facilitate its high-quality development.
