6 Hechi spots selected as must-visit places in Guangxi

On July 18, the first batch of 100 must-visit cultural tourism locations in Guangxi was announced. Six Hechi spots were selected to be on the list.

To be specific, Hechi's must-visit accommodations are Milutuo Hotels & Resorts in Du'an Yao autonomous county, Cliff Hotel in the Cotton Tiankeng Scenic Area, and the Yuelun Mulam Homestay in Luocheng Mulam autonomous county.

The other locations were included in the "must-visit scenic spots" category. They are the Danquan Dongtian Jiuhai Industrial Tourism Area, the Minghe River Scenic Area in Bama Yao autonomous county, and the Yaowang Tianxia Scenic Area in Nandan county.

The selection process started in June, when organizers had to review approximately 500 recommendations. Based on the results of online voting and expert evaluations, 100 must-visit places in Guangxi were selected.

This list focuses on recommending must-visit places in five categories: must-visit restaurants, must-visit accommodations, must-visit scenic spots, must-visit product bases, and must-visit destinations.

It aims to provide tourists with a comprehensive understanding of Guangxi's history, culture, beautiful scenery, delicious food, unique accommodation, and tourist routes. To be added onto the list, the must-visit places have to meet the diverse, personalized, and high-quality demands of tourists.
