In the recently released "2023 Top 100 High-Quality Development Zones" report by CCID Consulting, Guangzhou's Huangpu district has achieved a remarkable ranking, placing fifth nationwide.
The ranking's evaluation metrics span five major areas: technological innovation, industrial advancement, open collaboration, triple transformation, and investment environment.
Huangpu has earned recognition for its robust strength and high-quality development.
In 2022, the district was awarded 40 China Patent Awards and 22 Guangdong Province Patent Awards. It has also submitted nearly 1,000 PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) international patent applications.
Huangpu boasts five major industry clusters that have contributed to the district's new ranking, including automobile manufacturing, new display technology, green energy, new materials, and beauty and health.
Of note, Huangpu plans to continue actively engaging in international collaborations, initiating the second phase of its China-Singapore cooperation project, and establishing the Guangzhou China-Israel Biotech Investment Fund and Incubation Base.
