Duan Yupeng Art Museum is located in Rencheng district, Jining, East China's Shandong province, and it opened to the public on Oct 12, 2020.
The museum displays representative works by Duan Yupeng and documents about him. Duan, who was born in Jining in 1949, is a renowned calligrapher and artist. He learned calligraphy from Zhu Fukan and Chinese painting from Cheng Dali.
The art museum is open to the public for free and has held a variety of exhibitions, lectures, as well as other cultural activities. Last year, it received a total of more than 70,000 visits.
The museum has become an important platform to promote traditional Chinese culture and to showcase various artworks spanning calligraphy, paintings, as well as seals.
