The Big Data Industrial Park in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Hefei, Anhui province started operations on May 25. It aims to promote innovative applications of digital technologies and become a big data industrial cluster in the city and the province.
Located at the intersection of Chuangxin Avenue and Changpu Road in the zone, the industrial park covers an area of about 6.67 hectares and has a total construction area of 200,000 square meters.
It consists of 12 buildings, including a headquarters, accelerator, incubator, and roadshow exhibition center, capable of providing incubation, research and development as well as industrialization and globalization services.
The park is also equipped with comprehensive amenities such as restaurants and commercial buildings, making it a high-end community integrating scientific and technological innovation, research and development, production, businesses and offices.
With a focus on big data and artificial intelligence industries, the industrial park has attracted leading companies such as Hefei City Cloud to set up offices. Over 60 percent of its area has been reserved and the planned investment of enterprises that have settled within is 2 billion yuan ($313.62 million). It is estimated that by 2025, the annual output value of the park will reach 3.5 billion yuan and generate 380 million yuan in annual taxes.
