China's digital economy presents great opportunities for companies aiming to further accelerate and deepen their digital transformation amid a range of external forces—particularly the pace of technology innovation, shifting consumer preferences and climate change, said Samantha Zhu, chairperson of Accenture Greater China on Wednesday.
Zhu made the remarks during the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the Summer Davos Forum, in Tianjin.
China's digital economy touched 50.2 trillion yuan ($6.9 trillion) in 2022, second worldwide, accounting for 41.5 percent of the country's GDP, according to a report released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.
"The time is now for Chinese companies to adopt a reinvention strategy and transform every part of their company through technology, new ways of working and broader trust in the ecosystem," Zhu added.
