A green and low-carbon industry-themed forum was held in Suzhou New District, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, on July 11, local media outlets reported.
Part of the 15th Suzhou Entrepreneurship Week for International Elites in SND, the forum is expected to bring key technologies in green and low-carbon industries, high-profile talents, and cutting-edge projects to SND.
Four experts and scholars shared their insights into the current situation, development prospects, and cutting-edge technologies of green and low-carbon industries at the forum.
During the forum, a green and low-carbon industry demonstration base was put into service. Centering around green architecture, energy service, solar photovoltaic and other green and low-carbon fields, the base will attract and cultivate related outstanding enterprises.
An innovation consortium, which offers low-carbon technology services and consists of leading enterprises in low-carbon industries, universities, and research institutions, was set up at the forum.
SND also secured 12 projects involving photovoltaic, energy storage, and new energy transportation industries, which is expected to inject robust vitality into its green and low-carbon industrial cluster.
In recent years, SND has accelerated its layout in green and low-carbon industries by promoting concentrated development. Its green industrial park and green industry demonstration base have received national recognition and it has also gathered innovative green enterprises and top-notch institutes in green research.
