Taizhou ranked 26th on 2023 China prefecture-level city brand influence index

Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province was recently ranked 26th among the top 100 cities in the 2023 China prefecture-level city brand influence index by China City News.

The index was determined based on national statistical data from the past two years and evaluates 293 prefecture-level cities, excluding provincial capitals and larger cities, across the country. By reducing the emphasis on city size and GDP and increasing focus on green development and shared progress, the index aimed to tailor its approach to local conditions.

The index also highlighted the city's reputation and distinctive characteristics as key factors in creating a highly recognizable Chinese brand city with differentiated and high-quality development.
