Located in East China's Jiangsu province, Taizhou city is focused on building three advanced manufacturing clusters: namely the pharmaceutical industry, high-end equipment and high-tech shipbuilding industry and chemical and new materials industry.
The goal is to create an outstanding commercial system, characterized by Taizhou's distinctive features and its independence.
Taizhou is committed to building an advanced manufacturing base in the Yangtze River Delta. By 2022, the main business income of the three advanced manufacturing clusters is predicted to top 520 billion yuan ($78 billion), accounting for more than 68 percent of manufacturers above designated size, which means each firm has annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more.
