The State Council has approved replicating the reform work of the pilot free trade zones across the country, according to a circular released on July 10.
It is the seventh batch of measures tested by the pilot FTZs before implementation in other areas.
The reform measures to be applied nationwide include five aspects: trade and investment facilitation, governance innovation, financial openness and innovation, high-quality development of industries, and intellectual property rights protection, the circular said.
In addition, a few reform measures will be implemented in certain regions.
“Promoting liability insurance products for overseas intellectual property infringement” will be adopted in pilot free trade zones, the circular said.
Meanwhile, in coastal regions, “standard management of sewage outlets into the sea depending on the sewage's level and classification” will be implemented.
