Eco Forum Global Guiyang 2023 concludes in Guizhou

The Eco Forum Global Guiyang 2023, China's only international forum focusing on ecological civilization, concluded in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 10.

Jhon Rojas, governor of Narino Department, Colombia, said that the forum is meant to serve the development of the green economy. During the forum, Narino signed a letter of intent for friendly relations with Guizhou, facilitating investment and trade activities between the two regions.

He invited Guizhou's delegations to visit Narino, further enhancing bilateral ties and promoting projects for the benefit of both peoples.

Dejan Ilioski, CEO of the European Youth Association and ambassador of the European Climate Pact, said that global climate change affects all aspects of human society, and every country and individual should do their part.

He encourages young people to not only promote environmental protection concepts but also learn about environmental protection and even find jobs related to it.

At the closing ceremony, a high-level dialogue titled "Building Guiyang Consensus, pursuing the modernization of harmony between humanity and nature" was held. Experts and company representatives delivered speeches on the theme.
