The Qingdao Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the first of its kind in Shandong province, passed national acceptance inspection on July 6, marking a new platform for Shandong to open wider to the outside world.
A joint inspection team of officials from the General Administration of Customs and six other ministries and commissions conducted an on-site inspection of the infrastructure and supervision facilities of the Qingdao Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
After rounds of inspection and review, the inspection team unanimously agreed that the basic and regulatory facilities within the scope of the Qingdao Airport Comprehensive free Trade Zone comply with relevant national laws and regulations and the relevant provisions of the comprehensive bonded zones.

The Qingdao Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone officially passed the national acceptance inspection and was issued the acceptance certificate.
With a total planned land area of 1.44 square kilometers, the Qingdao Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone is adjacent to the cargo area of Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport and the international hub port of the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area.
"It will provide port, trade, logistics, customs clearance and other services to promote the landing of relevant policies in the comprehensive bonded zone," said a local official, adding that further study of policies will occur to promote foreign trade and foreign investment and trade liberalization and facilitation, and to explore new models and paths to deepen cooperation with SCO countries and promote export-oriented economic development.
