The New Energy Industrial Park in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, or NETDA – situated in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – is developing rapidly.
The park is vigorously developing its power batteries, energy storage batteries, lithium battery diaphragms, cathode materials and other fields and has established a number of industry production and supply chains.
Moving forwards, it will develop new energy batteries, photovoltaic modules, new energy equipment and new energy vehicle components, among other things.
The park has set itself the annual goal of developing 10 manufacturers above a designated size – those with revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.9 million) or more – and achieving taxable revenue of up to 10 billion yuan in the current year.
To date, leading manufacturers have located operations in the park. These include Senior Technology Material Co Ltd and Electric Gotion New Energy Technology Co Ltd.
The NETDA provides administrative fee reductions and exemptions, tax reductions and exemptions, land supplies, temporary offices, residential apartments and dormitories to enterprises and personnel that choose to work and base themselves there.
