When a visitor enters the area, they are often taken aback by the sight. There is not a square foot of bare ground, and even side rocks and laurel trunks are clothed in shaggy moss. The forest is home to bison, wild sheep, mandarin ducks and other rare birds and animals. Aquatic animals such as giant salamanders and groupers make the river their home, and the body of water serves as a natural garden.
The most famous part of Tiexi is the Dragon Pool, the source of the river. Blue water is surrounded by hundred-year-old trees, ancient vines and strange rocks, impressing all who make the journey.
