Century-old Grand Theatre reopens in Huangpu

The Grand Theatre has a history that spans a century, and it holds a special place in the hearts of the people of Guangzhou. This theater has now reopened in 'Joy City' in Huangpu district, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its cinematic journey.

It was the first cinema in Guangzhou to introduce air conditioning, providing patrons with both a comfortable environment and high-quality service. Today, after efforts to preserve its traditional decor while incorporating modern technology, the reopened theatre offers the ultimate movie experience.

The new Grand Theatre not only screens films but also introduces a variety of performances. Additionally, the special screening halls are named after other iconic theaters in Guangzhou.
