Shandong Sunhe Power Technology Co Ltd is a professional power service provider that integrates scientific research, development, design, production, installation construction and field services into one coordinated operation. The company officially started operating independently with registered capital of 717.6 million yuan ($109.7 million) on March 19, 2013.

The company has established two international offices (the Netherlands office and the Namibia office) and 12 offices in China to serve all major domestic nuclear power projects. The company has passed the certification of the ISO9001 Quality Management System, the ISO14001-2004 Environment Management System and the OHSAS18000 Occupational Health and Safety System, and obtained a CE certificate and a European Union license. Sunhe has won the title of Shandong Famous-Brand Product, leading the industry in many fields, including anti-corrosion, pipe manufacture and installation.

In response to requirements for the group development, the company has established an engineering management center, a material supply center and an equipment manufacturing center. In 2017, the company established an academician workstation research and development (R&D) center for Hou Baorong and his team who work for the Institute of Oceanology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Meanwhile, the company has established a military industry division. Sunhe Power, a Chinese Navy base and a military industry research institute have jointly sought approval for military industry projects revolving around nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, destroyers and equipment inside the destroyers, and anti-corrosion projects for offshore nuclear power platforms, thus laying a solid foundation for the company to enter the military market.

By editing, co-editing and revising industry standards in 2018, the company began to create the first intelligent industrial piping prefabrication production line in the industry. The formulation of several standards and the establishment of intelligent production lines have greatly enhanced the core competitiveness of the group's products in the market and shaped an excellent brand image.

In 2018, the company signed contracts worth 280 million yuan and realized profits and taxes of over 32 million yuan. Funded by Sunhe, construction on a civil-military integration and nuclear industrial park in Tangkou Industrial Park is underway, which occupies more than 334,000 square meters. The industrial park will serves as a base for naval scientific research equipment manufacturing, desalination equipment manufacturing base in China, marine nuclear power new materials production, nuclear industrial equipment production, marine anti-corrosion new materials production, aerospace parts manufacturing and other related work. Within five years, the park will strive to introduce no less than three high-end equipment enterprises for the military and nuclear industries, work to achieve total industrial output value of 5 billion yuan, profits and taxes of 750 million yuan, and create jobs for more than 1,300 people. It will strive to realize output value of 10 billion yuan within 10 years.
