The 14th National Dance Exhibition, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Government, opened at the Ordos Grand Theater on July 6.
From July 6 to 21, the exhibition features 13 dance dramas and poems and 70 excellent dance performances with distinct themes, rich content, and diverse subjects.
Notable performances for commemorating the 100th anniversary of Jia Zuoguang's birth, the dance drama "Xian Xinghai," and dance programs from Macao will also be featured.
Experts and scholars in dance and related areas will be invited to watch the performances and hold discussions.
Collaborating with the local Ulan Muqi art troupe, small performing squads consisting of performance teams and artists will be formed. They will perform for schools, communities, pastoral areas, and military camps in Dongsheng district and Ejin Horoo Banner of Ordos city. This will give more people the opportunity to experience high-quality dance performances up close.
