The Hall of Suzhou Paintings and Calligraphy is located on the third floor of the museum as a special exhibition and displays selected collections of ancient and modern paintings and calligraphy works by Suzhou-born artists from the Suzhou Museum.

The Hall of Personal Exploration has always been popular among visitors. The 4,500-square-meter hall is located in the basement of the museum and offers a space for young visitors aged 3 to 12 years old to explore the arts.

Suzhou Museum West will be open for trial operations from Sept 29. During this period, the museum will be open from 9 am to 5 pm (admission is not allowed after 4 pm) from Tuesdays to Sundays.
