Qunzhong Street is not long, but it features stalls selling a range of traditional Sanya snacks that are popular with tourists. The ingredients may not be expensive, but the snack bars are popular due to their secret recipes, traditional cooking methods and mouthwatering taste.

Huihui village, a major Muslim community in the city, is home to a number of stalls and restaurants selling traditional snacks, including one selling delicious soup made from beef bones and served with white radish. A nearby eatery sells a specialty made from local beef, bones and noodles, with onion, garlic, chili, coriander and other seasonings.

The chicken is wrapped in a flavored paste and deep-fried in hot oil. Different from the fried chicken of fast food restaurants and South Korean restaurants, the fried chicken in Nanbianhai fishing village has its own unique taste.

Over the past 20 years, the fried chicken of Nanbianhai fishing village has become one of the most representative delicacies of Sanya.
