The 14th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (CCCIF) will take place from Aug 4 to 7 at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, Fujian province.
The CCCIF will feature various exhibitions and sub-events. For example, the digital cultural tourism exhibition section will focus on how scientifical and technological innovation empowers the development of cultural tourism industry, while the creative design section will exhibit creative cultural designs from cross-Strait universities. Meanwhile, the traditional culture section will display handcrafted artworks from across the Strait.
This year's CCCIF will serve as an important platform for cross-Strait cultural communication and cooperation, as well as investment and trade. A variety of cutting-edge digital technologies will be showcased at the fair.
In addition, this year's fair will again serve as a matchmaking platform for players within the cultural tourism industry. Cooperation agreements for 93 major cultural tourism projects with a total value of 38.82 billion yuan ($6.08 billion) were signed at the fair last year.
This year's event will also connect the government with companies. Meetings aimed at attracting investments, interpreting industrial policies, and introducing the city's business environment will be held at the fair.
