Authorities in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province held a special investment promotion activity for 40 entrepreneurs from the 21st Century Baifu Academy on June 16.
The entrepreneurs conducted a field survey of NETDA's business environment, visited the area's industry-leading enterprises, and held a symposium during the event.
Tong Longjun, executive director of Baifu Academy, said at the symposium that NETDA boasts strong industries, supporting facilities and a livable environment, and expressed his hope that in-depth exchanges and cooperation will be carried out in the future.
Cao Yanhui, deputy director of NETDA's administrative committee, outlined the area's geographical location, industrial structure, industrial parks, favorable policies and urban infrastructure.
Cao added that authorities will continue efforts to provide better government services to entrepreneurs who are looking to make investments in the area.
Representatives of NETDA's major enterprises including Cowain and Luolai Home Textile shared their experiences in management, business models and the area's business environment.
Both sides also discussed ways and directions of conducting cooperation in the future.
