Digital experts and enterprises gathered in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on June 16-18, as the 4th Western Digital Economy Expo was held in the city.
As the most significant digital economy-themed exhibition in Northwest China, this year's expo included an opening ceremony, nine themed activities, and multiple sub-forums.
The expo set up three exhibition areas for innovation, digital government and infrastructure construction, and digital and real economic integration, attracting more than 30,000 visits.
Exhibits covered the latest research and development achievements and technological application scenarios in many fields, such as industry, agriculture, transportation, education, medical care, and service industries.
The three-day expo attracted Huawei, Baidu, Alibaba, Chinasoft International, iFlytek, and many other leading digital companies to participate, as well as relevant government departments and professional audiences from Shaanxi, Jilin, Shanxi, Sichuan, and other regions for discussion and exchange.
Meanwhile, a district and county investigation and research activity for digital enterprises was organized, inviting leading digital enterprises to visit various districts, counties, and development zones in Xi'an. These districts, counties, and development zones signed more than 30 cooperation contracts.
