Cui Genghu, the president of Taishan Polytechnic, demonstrated his skill in calligraphy. Stephen Varty expressed that Chinese calligraphy is not merely a way of writing but also an art form. Upon returning to Australia, he plans to consider offering an elective course on Chinese calligraphy at the Chisholm Institute to help further Australian students understand Chinese culture.

Over the past 10 years, the two colleges have collaborated on two educational projects aimed at enhancing their cooperative efforts. These projects have focused on developing talent training programs, establishing teaching staff teams, and conducting effective teaching practices. As a result of these initiatives, the colleges have successfully trained a significant number of engineering and technical personnel with international perspectives.
