The Guiyang customs suggested that over the first four months of this year, Guizhou's exports and imports came in at 25.96 billion yuan ($3.66 billion), a surge of 54.5 percent, including 19.09 billion yuan of exports, and 6.87 billion yuan of imports.
Guiyang, Zunyi, and Tongren's foreign trade were among the top three of the province, with Guiyang's foreign trade volume growing by 56.1 percent to 19.89 billion yuan.
Guizhou's three comprehensive bonded zones reported 9.96 billion yuan of foreign trade amount, a surge of 114.6 percent.
General trade accounted for 68.3 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume from January to April.
Guizhou posted 648 foreign traders reporting positive sales growth over this period, including companies involved in the private sector, which were 532, as well as 74 State-owned and 41 foreign-funded.
ASEAN, Hong Kong, and South Korea were Guizhou's top three business partners, contributing 21.2 percent, 13.7 percent, and 5.8 percent of the province's total foreign trade.
