Wang Ronghu, the chairman of the Jiangsu Overall Association for Industry, Trade, Culture, Science and Technology in Germany, paid a visit to Wuxi New District (WND) in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province on May 29.
During their meeting, representatives from both sides agreed to hold a business gathering in Munich on June 7. The association will invite its members, Chinese and German entrepreneurs, and university professors to the gathering, while WND will present its latest favorable policies.
Wang also visited an exhibition to learn about WND's achievements related to internet of things, integrated circuits, biomedicine, and high-end equipment.

Gu Guodong, deputy head of WND, expressed his hopes that the association can help companies in WND expand into overseas markets and learn about cutting-edge technologies as well as attract foreign investors and talent to do business in the district.
At a meeting held by a WND delegation in February in Munich, Wang have said that numerous small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany are interested in investing in China. Chinese students in Germany are also looking to start their careers in China.
WND has a longstanding history of collaboration with German enterprises. It is home to many production bases belonging to German companies like Bosch, Siemens, and Infineon.
