The Kangbashi district of Ordos city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is set to revolutionize transportation with its upcoming self-driving shuttle bus project.

Anticipated to commence trial operation in early June, this groundbreaking initiative employs cutting-edge technologies such as 5G signal coverage, vehicle-road coordination, and artificial intelligence.

Combined with integrated management and control systems such as smart platforms and stations, self-driving shuttle buses can realize intelligent monitoring of driving vehicles, safety warnings, and same-domain collaboration with other social vehicles.

When the driver is not engaged in any operation, the shuttle bus can autonomously select lanes, navigate around obstacles and pedestrians, and automatically stop according to preset stops. By leveraging advanced technologies, these buses ensure a smooth and secure ride for passengers, showcasing the remarkable potential of autonomous driving.

During the driving process, the self-driving shuttle buses maintain a consistent speed of 25 km/h, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort.

The buses are available in green or blue, with the words "5G+smart tourism+autonomous driving" emblazoned on the front, serving as a visual testament to the advanced technologies integrated into the vehicles.
