New companies flock to Jinpu in April

Jinpu New Area welcomed 3,526 new signed-up market entities in April, marking an impressive growth rate of 53.64 percent compared to the previous year. The total number of new market entities in Jinpu has now reached 10,222.

Out of the 3,526 newly added market entities, 1,938 were self-employed households, representing a remarkable 73.19 percent year-on-year increase, with a combined registered capital of 176 million yuan ($24.74 million), a substantial increase of 86.67 percent compared to the previous year. Domestic enterprises numbered 1,565 and foreign-invested enterprises sat at 14, reporting year-on-year increase of 35.03 percent and 16.67 percent, respectively.

As of April, Jinpu was home to a cumulative 233,434 registered market entities, of which 131,604 were self-employed households, and 626 were farmer businesses. Domestic enterprises reached 98,598, seeing a year-onyear increase of 8.03 percent.
