CEO: WND top destination for CMK investment in China

CMK Group's president and CEO, Isao Osawa, visited Wuxi New District (WND) in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on May 25.

CMK is a world-leading Japanese designer and manufacturer of high-quality multilayer printed wiring boards which established a branch in WND in 2001.

The Party secretary of WND, Cui Rongguo, welcomed Osawa and expressed his hope that CMK will deepen cooperation with WND and introduce cutting-edge technologies and products to the district. He added the WND government will provide the best services possible to support CMK's development in Wuxi.

Cui also noted that the integrated circuit industry in WND ranks second among all Chinese high-tech districts in terms of value and involves all sectors along the industrial chain, such as chip design, wafer manufacturing, and packaging and testing.

Osawa expressed his gratitude for WND's long-term assistance to CMK Group. The well-developed integrated circuit industry in WND makes the district the top destination in China for CMK investment. CMK is planning to increase its investment in Wuxi and construct the Wuxi branch into its most advanced production base.
