A signing ceremony – paving the way for the construction of the planned college of cultural and creative industries – was held on May 19 by Taizhou University and Hailing Industrial Park in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province.
Separately, an agreement to build a practical teaching base was also reached on the day and the park offered a special scholarship totaling 50,000 yuan ($7,071) for top students in the cultural and creative industries.
Taizhou University Vice-Principle Xue Xiaoping said it would strive to promote the integration of industry, study, research and applications – and continue to expand areas of joint endeavor with the park.
Hailing Industrial Park official Wang He said it would provide innovation and entrepreneurship support for graduates and conduct all-round cooperation with the university for the employment of its students.
