The construction of the first standardized biodiversity observation station in Jiangsu province recently started.

Located in the Chunjiang Wetland Park in Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, also known as Gaogang district, in Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, the station will be focused on analyzing the distribution and population trends of rare animals and plants along the Yangtze River section in Taizhou.

Six biological artificial intelligence identification observation sites, eight collection sites, one sonar observation area, and 29 fixed survey lines will be set up by the station.

Multiple observation methods such as biological AI identification observation, environmental DNA, underwater acoustics and manual survey, will be adopted.
