Harbin Electric International Company Limited has completed pouring the foundation for the gas turbine of the Manzanillo Phase III combined cycle project in Mexico, meeting all contractual requirements.
The pouring of the foundation marks a significant milestone for the construction of the Manzanillo III project and signals the start of peak construction for this phase.
The project involves the construction and installation of a 7F.05 gas turbine and an A650 steam turbine generator within the existing power plant in Manzanillo. The aim is to achieve a total power output of 350MW combined-cycle power generation.
Situated in the city of Manzanillo in the State of Colima, Mexico, the project will be established in the Manzanillo Phase I plant area, located adjacent to the port of Manzanillo.
The client for the project is the Commission of Federal Electricity in Mexico, established in 1937 to manage and direct the national power generation, transmission, and distribution systems and provide power services throughout the country.
