China National Tea Museum, located to the west of West Lake, is the only national-level museum specializing in tea culture. It acts as a platform linking China and the world through the medium of tea.
Occupying an area of 13,000 square meters, the museum is made up of two pavilions: Shuangfeng Pavilion and Longjing Pavilion. As a tea-oriented tourist attraction, it combines functions including cultural demonstrations, science education, research, academic exchanges, and tea art training.
The exhibitions in the museum explore tea culture through history, stories, and tea-related objects. There are activities designed for different groups of visitors, such as Chinese tea-themed activities for foreign guests, free tea-culture lectures on Saturdays, and hands-on activities for children and young people.
