Guangzhou aims to encourage entrepreneurship in HK, Macao youth

Guangzhou released a publication titled Exploring the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area: Stories of Innovation and Entrepreneurship by Hong Kong and Macao Youth in Guangzhou on May 17.

The publication features interviews with 32 outstanding Hong Kong and Macao youth, highlighting their experiences in innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and daily life within the Greater Bay Area.

This initiative aims to provide a more realistic understanding of the business, living, educational, and cultural aspects of the Greater Bay Area. This will hopefully attract more young talents from Hong Kong and Macao to contribute to Guangzhou's vision of becoming a leading hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. 

During the release event, Zhan Decun, director of the foreign affairs office of the Guangzhou municipal government, engaged in discussions with the youth representatives to better understand their challenges and concerns, while also taking note of their suggestions. 

Distinguished speakers were also invited to deliver inspiring speeches, encouraging the young talents to make their mark in the new era. 

Guangzhou has been actively supporting the cultivation and development of Hong Kong and Macao youth within the Greater Bay Area. By establishing innovation and entrepreneurship bases and providing these young talents with comprehensive services, the city hopes to create a fully integrated society that will boost the region's development.
