Guiyang sees results in building of green manufacturing system

The awarding event for designating green manufacturing enterprises in 2022 and a lecture on constructing the green manufacturing system construction were held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 15.

Guizhou Zhenghe Tianzhu Technology Co, CRRC Guiyang Co, Guizhou Geely Engine Co, and Guiyang Zhong An Technology Group Co won the national certification for green factories.

Guizhou Zhenghe Tianzhu Technology Co was also certified as a national green supply chain management enterprise, becoming the only company in Guiyang to receive this certification in 2022.

In addition, eight companies were certified as provincial green factories and four companies were rated as provincial green supply chain demonstration enterprises.

During the lecture, the relevant person in charge of the energy conservation department of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology explained in detail the national and provincial green manufacturing guidelines, as well as their related policies.

Experts from the Advanced Technology Research Institute of Guizhou University explained the creation and evaluation of green manufacturing systems, such as green products, green factories, green supply chains, as well as green parks. Representatives of newly recognized companies shared their experiences in building green manufacturing systems.

In recent years, Guiyang has taken the construction of a green manufacturing system as an important measure for industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as for furthering the high-quality development of the real economy.

Currently, Guiyang is home to 16 national green factories, three national green parks, 13 national green design products, and six national green supply chain management enterprises.
